Where architecture meets imagination
When you look at a building like the Norwegian Cruise Line Terminal B in PortMiami, it’s hard to imagine its complexity before it exists in real life. That’s where high-end 3D animation makes all the difference.
At Virtual Image & Animation, our mission is to transform architectural and engineering designs into visual stories that inspire, engage, and communicate. For this flagship project, we created a cinematic animation that reveals the scale, elegance, and innovation of a terminal built to welcome ships carrying more than 5,000 passengers.
Why 3D Animation Matters for Projects Like This
-
Visualization before construction
Stakeholders, investors, and the public can experience the design long before the first steel is erected.
-
Clarity in complexity
The Norwegian Cruise Line Terminal features massive curved trusses, intricate roof geometry, and unique glass façades. Animation translates that technical detail into something understandable and impactful.
-
Marketing & storytelling power
Beyond engineering, 3D animation builds excitement and brand value, turning architecture into a shareable experience.
About the Project
Â
The terminal, spanning 166,500 square feet and built with 7,400 tons of steel, is designed as a world-class gateway for modern cruise travel. Our animation showcases:
Aerial perspectives highlighting the scale and location over the water
Dynamic sequences showing interior passenger flows and architectural details
Photorealistic rendering of light, glass, and structural steel elements
A cinematic approach that balances technical accuracy with artistic storytelling
The Impact
By blending art and engineering, our animation became a powerful tool for architects, engineers, and the client team to communicate vision, align stakeholders, and generate anticipation for one of the most iconic cruise terminals in the world.
